Finché c’è spazio (Maman et Louise)

Francesca Torchia’s series of works “Until There’s Room” is dedicated to women who have suffered mistreatment, torture and-in some cases-death by people or regimes that did not accept their way of being a woman within the family or social context. Each work has cards inside it containing the thoughts that visitors to the exhibitions – in which Francesca’s works have been displayed – wanted to dedicate to the project, with the hope that one day not too far away there will be no more room for abuse, of whatever kind.
