He began his research in the 1970s,
He participates in seminars held by directors of photography, such as Rotunno and Storaro, from which he draws techniques that he immediately personalizes.
He is counted among the photographers registered with the A.F.I.P. (Association of Italian Professional Photographers) historical association which brings together the best professionals in the advertising photography sector with selective checks.
His love for art, in particular for material forms, brought him closer to sculpture and in ’98 to a significant collaboration with the artists Pomodoro, Ceroli and Trubbiani,
In the field of artistic heritage, the collaboration with the company I Guzzini Illuminazione is fundamental, for which he photographs museums, paintings, monuments and archaeological sites in Italy and around the world.
Vogue Sposa lists it among its photographic collaborations in the editorial field.

Vittorio Sgarbi, curator of the Italian Pavilion of the 54th International Art Exhibition of the 2011 Venice Biennale recognizes its importance, selecting three fine-art images.

Enrico’s research – and passion – for Still-life shots led him to master the Platinum/Palladium printing technique, making him one of the few expert photographers in this field.
